While volunteering at Fab Scrap, a phenomenal pre-consumer textile recycling non-profit, I found an acid-wash, denim jacket with a large tear in the back. Pink is my partner’s niece’s favorite color, so I used a large denim patch and running stitches to mend the back and sent it to her before her new school year.
